Grammar Classes run on weekday and weekends, daytime and nightime, so there should be one that fits your schedule! Every level is a term, and every term has a goal. By the end of the first one you can tell someone about your weekend. By the end of the fourth you can argue with them about it.
Each level runs both in person in Paris (8 students maximum), in a room with actual people and usually a drink afterwards, for anyone who hasn't moved here yet. Same book, same teacher.
Groups stay small, because nobody ever learned to speak in a room of twenty.
We start mid-October, and we’ll open groups as they fill. The waitlist is closed but there will be open seats available at the launch of the booking page <3
490 euros per level. That covers the ten lessons, your own textbook, and access to the student portal, where the recordings, the extra exercises and everything we ran out of time for in class all live.
NIVEAU 1 · Bonjour - From nothing to a real conversation about your weekend.
NIVEAU 2 · Raconter - Past tenses, opinions, and the little words everyone skips.
NIVEAU 3 · Imaginer - The future, the conditional, and everything that has not happened.
NIVEAU 4 · Nuancer - Subjonctif, argument, and knowing which French to use.

Ten weeks to go from standing silently in the boulangerie to holding up your end. You get the present tense, how to say no, how to ask a question, how to talk about what you are doing this weekend and what you did last one. And you get the things textbooks leave out: why bonjour matters more than any verb, when to say tu, and what to do in the moment you understand nothing at all.
For you if: you are starting from scratch, or you did French at school and it has quietly left.

Level 1 gets you talking. Level 2 gets you interesting. This is where you learn to tell a story properly, with the imparfait and the passé composé doing their two different jobs, and where you finally get the small words that make French sound like French: le, la, lui, y, en. You say what you think, agree, disagree, compare things, and describe someone without running out of road after four words.
For you if: you can hold a simple conversation, but everything you say comes out in the present tense.

The level where French stops being about facts. You talk about what will happen, what would happen, and what would have happened if you had done the other thing. Futur simple, conditionnel, the three kinds of si, and reported speech, which is the one that lets you tell someone what somebody else said without sounding like a robot. By the end you can have a proper disagreement about something that does not exist.
For you if: you are comfortable in the past and present, and you would like to stop avoiding every sentence that needs a would.

The last level is about control. Half of it is the subjonctif, which sounds frightening and mostly is not. The other half is everything that makes you sound like an adult: building an argument, conceding a point, the passive, mise en relief, and the gap between how French is written and how it is actually spoken at one in the morning on a terrasse. We finish with a page of passé simple, purely so you can read a novel.
For you if: people have stopped switching to English when you speak, and you would like to stop sounding like a very polite tourist.
